Harleston Ladies Kick Boxing is warm, friendly and welcoming - its important to feel comfortable. I know the feeling all too well when first joining a class, you feel like everybody is looking at you and you are worried you are unfit and all you want to be is unnoticed at the back of the room!! This ladies group is very different, everybody is greeted by the instructors with a smile. The class holds no pressure or competition and you build up your own level of fitness at your own rate but still be encouraged to push yourself that little bit further (if you're like me and need it!)"

"If you are interested in joining HLKB feel free to contact me for a chat - I can meet and greet you in reception so you dont have to walk in alone!"

Coach Information

Harleston Kick Boxing Club is primarily a competative fighting club. Kevan Goodswen, a former British NAK champion, has over 25 years of experience in producing competative british champions  with an excellent fight win record to date. Kevan retired from competitive fighting but injected his energy and experience into training many successful fighters. The club is open to all - we recognise that not every student wants to fight, so an alternative programme to improve fitness, flexibility and self confidence is available for children and adults. Whether you are a beginner or advanced our teaching methods are modern and all teaching is done in a friendly, safe enviroment. No Contracts just pay as you go.

First Lesson is FREE. We are insured with the ISKA.

Kerry Howman - Assistant Coach
I am 34 years old, I live in Harleston with my son Alex 10, I started kickboxing 12 years ago. I can clearly remember my first class with Sue Fell in February 1997 Burton-upon-Trent alongside the other 55 ladies that had turned up to Sue Fell's first Ladies Only Class - I have never forgotten the professional coaching and enthusiam that Sue put into teaching us. My final grading with Sue was my brown/black belt on >>>Sue Continues to run a highly successful adademy in the midlands with over 200  students. www.suefellkickboxing.co.uk  February 1998 I sadly left the club, following my return to Norfolk with Alex, Alex had been diagnosed with Autism and severe developmental delay, I needed the support of my family. I joined Harleston Kickboxing Club
and have trained under Kevan Goodswen  for the last 10 years. During this time I have experienced many other fantastic clubs Leceister Kickboxing - Jag, Blackbelt Academy - Richard Vince, Reflex Martial Arts - Adrian Poulter, Harleston Kung-Fu - Kevin Wiles, Bungay TawKwando Club - Clinton Gillett, all the above Clubs have increased my knowledge of martial arts and I have the greatest respect for these amazing coaches. In addition to coaching for Harleston Kickboxing I train with 3 Lions Muay Thai Gym in Great Yarmouth under Dave Munro and Bin Tyler. My goals for the next year is to have over 100 students training in Harleston and to fight for a British Title by the end of 2009.

All of our team have one thing in common - a true love for teaching competitive kick boxing.
We take pride in our welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Please come and visit us.
